Your End-Point Assessment Journey
Engagement
Choose the EPAO that is right for you and engage with them. Make sure that their service commitments meet your needs and expectations and that they offer comprehensive support for the End-Point Assessment.
Registration
Register your apprentices with your EPAO as early as possible in their programme. This gives them access to supporting materials for assessment, protects their status on the programme and allows your EPAO to plan effectively for gateway.
Gateway
This stage is where the apprentice undertakes their assessment, be it a multiple choice test, a practical, a presentation or a professional discussion etc The assessor will guide them through the expectations of the assessment and will be the individual who will assign them a grade.
Support
Study the supporting documents that your EPAO provides and ask questions if you need to know more. Take advantage of any training offered and ask your EPAO about ensuring an efficient process. For Notebook’s offerings, see our Resource Library.
Assessment
At this stage the apprentice moves from the on-programme learning to the assessment period. They will be introduced to their assessor and the assessments they will undertake.
Results
At this stage, the apprentice will receive their results and further support if needed.
