By installing and maintaining your cabling systems. It’s an important task that can save your business time and money. Their focus is on making sure that all devices communicate seamlessly, and all data is transferred securely. They’ll offer quick setups, fast troubleshooting and put preventative measures in place to minimise downtime that can hurt productivity and profitability.

12 months minimum to gateway

EPA timeframe: 3 Months

EQA Ofqual Grading: Pass/Distinction/Fail

- To go through gateway, the following criteria have to be met:
  - The apprentice has achieved English and mathematics at level 2.
  - The apprentice has completed a portfolio demonstrating all of the required knowledge, skills and behaviour of the apprenticeship.

- - 75 minutes (+10%)
  - Minimum of 20 questions
  - Portfolio may be referred to

The assessment approach for this standard has two methods:
- Practical Demonstration and Questions.
- Professional Discussion.

- A minimum of 5 questions.
- Total of 7 hrs (+10%) to complete 2 tasks:
  - Install, terminate and test copper cable.
  - Install, terminate and test fibre optic cable.
